After being lost, a dog was finally reunited with its owner when someone found it 310 miles away from home.
In Côte-d’Or, France, a one-year-old Malinois Shepherd named Bandit went missing from his home last year. It broke his owner Farid’s heart and he spent months trying to locate his furry friend. Unfortunately, his efforts were in vain, and he couldn’t find Bandit anywhere. However, after an excruciating wait of eight months, a compassionate stranger discovered Bandit on the side of the road.
It’s truly heartbreaking to hear that a 4-month-old puppy was stolen. However, there is a glimmer of hope as the dog was discovered despite not having a collar. The microchip implanted in him came to the rescue and he was able to be reunited with his owner, even though he was located 310 miles away from home.
The reunion between the two close friends was a remarkable triumph and they were absolutely thrilled to be in each other’s company once more! It was all thanks to the shelter, a kind-hearted Samaritan, and a microchip that Bandit and Farid can now relish their days by each other’s side. As soon as Farid received the fantastic news, he couldn’t wait to meet Bandit again and hurried over to his locality immediately!
He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all those who played a role in his pet’s recovery, stressing the importance of microchipping pets. He considered Bandit’s return as a true miracle, which wouldn’t have been possible without the microchip. He also shared that the day Bandit finally came back home was one of the happiest moments of his life.
Watch the touching video of these two friends below. Farid posted the footage, expressing his delight at finally seeing his four-legged buddy again after a lengthy trip. Agea Santos made a sincere pledge to his cherished pet, Alvin. Despite his illness, which left him unable to stand up easily, Agea promised to look after him until the day he passes. Alvin can rest easy knowing he has a devoted and affectionate owner by his side.
