One day, a ginger and white tabby appeared in a group of feral cats, searching for a meal. Sia, who takes care of the stray cats in the area, began feeding him and watched over him. Unfortunately, he came back one day with a severe eye infection which worsened until he could no longer open his eye.
Sia decided to step up and help a cat who was in dire need of medical assistance. She rescued the feline, whom she affectionately named Leon, using a humane trap. Fortunately, Melanie, a nearby animal rescuer, offered her assistance upon hearing about the situation. After bringing Leon to safety, he underwent a thorough examination with a veterinarian. Despite being in an unfamiliar environment, Leon remained poised and relaxed, almost as if he recognized that his caretakers were helping him.
Leon was diagnosed with FIV and received medical attention for a stomach problem and an eye ulcer. The veterinarians also found out that he had entropion, a condition where the eyelid turns inward, causing discomfort to the cornea and increasing the risk of infections. To help Leon recover, the community rallied around him, and he underwent surgery to correct his eyesight.
Leon was taken in by Chatons, a rescue organization that provided him with ongoing medical attention and a temporary home where he could recover and interact with others.

After a period of wandering around the streets and recuperating from an operation, Leon eventually flourished into a youthful soul and was eager to locate his ideal abode – which he successfully achieved. As per his adoptive family, Leon’s jovial spirit and distinctive personality shone through upon arrival. Known for being cuddly and loving, Leon has an abundance of affection to offer.
Leon’s appetite remains insatiable, and he is in remarkable health with a perpetually youthful mind. Despite being diagnosed with FIV, he continues to amaze us with his capacity to acquire new skills. Whenever we open the kitchen cupboard, his heavy strides echo around the house as he charges towards us.
