Finally, Monet, a well-known painter, was the basis for his second name as he happened to be their owner’s favorite artist.
Could you tell me a bit about Paris and Pierre’s characters? Paris is an elegant cat with refined tastes and a love for sophistication. She’s quite fond of showing affection, although she has her own unique way of doing so. On the other hand, Pierre is commonly compared to a college student due to his fun-loving nature. Despite being a Maine Coon breed, he seems more like a golden retriever in disguise.
What are their favorite pastimes? Paris enjoys playing with her feather toy and showing off her athletic abilities by leaping high in the sky. She also finds pleasure in splashing around in her water bowl. Pierre, on the other hand, loves greeting his fans by twirling and entertaining them at the front door. He has also grown fond of water, similar to his sister, and has learned how to turn on the faucet by himself. Is their relationship strong? While Paris tolerates her brother’s presence, she enjoys participating in games of hide and seek and ambush with him. In contrast, Pierre adores his sister and doesn’t mind sharing his favorite spot with her. Sometimes, he even sits on top of her, and they both appear to enjoy the interaction.
Do Maine Coons like Paris and Pierre have distinctive chirping and trilling sounds compared to other feline breeds? Yes, indeed! We use these sounds to gain attention, something we always crave. Moreover, we spend hours trilling at the birds outside our windows, hoping to catch them with our paws. He was lucky to have found his forever home, as he may not have survived otherwise. Although his past may have been tough, Garfield has come to trust and love humans and is now living the life of a spoiled and cherished indoor cat.
What’s the story behind your adorable pet cat, Garfield? Even though you weren’t looking for a feline companion, you couldn’t resist rescuing him. It all started during the summer of 2021 when you were spending time in Bran. One morning, while you were outside, you came across a sad-looking kitten covered in fleas and ticks, staring at you with desolate eyes. You were instantly drawn to him. He was quite feral, so it took some time for him to trust you. Initially, he didn’t even allow you to touch him. One day, he appeared to be injured, meowing frantically and in a state of panic. Upon examination, you found out that he had been bitten on the tail by a dog. It took two days to capture him, and you took him to the vet immediately. The vet informed you that he was about a year old, had parasites and mange, and advised you that if you wanted to save him, you couldn’t let him roam freely again. That’s when you decided to bring him home with you to Bucharest. Today, Garfield is happy and healthy, and he has a loving family who adores him.
Have you ever thought about how your cuddly companion got their moniker? Our story begins with our first glimpse of him. With his plump, orange appearance, we were immediately reminded of the beloved cartoon character Garfield. However, upon closer inspection, we discovered that he was actually suffering from a parasitic infestation rather than excess weight. Despite this, we lovingly dubbed him Garfield and have since given him the endearing nicknames of Garry and Garfi.
Can you tell me about his personality? From the moment he joined our household, he has shown us his loving and calm demeanor. He loves being held close and snuggling up in my arms. However, he does tend to hide away when we have guests due to previous mistreatment from people, which has left him feeling scared – despite having been with us for a year. What kind of things does he like to do? He enjoys watching birds fly around outside, and his favorite hobby is spending time playing with his favorite toys, such as mice and balls.
Does he have any furry companions at home? No, he is the sole pet in our household and relishes his role as the king of the castle.
