Tomitilii is a stunning tortoiseshell cat from Bucharest, Romania, who has captured our hearts. Her cat dad kindly agreed to let us feature her on our website, and we couldn’t be more thrilled. So without further ado, meet the charming and adorable Tomitilii, whose delightful pictures shine like the stars.
How did Tomitilii become a part of your life story? Well, when I was about 20 years old, I left my home and started living on my own. At that time, my then-girlfriend was an ardent cat lover who kept pestering me to get a pet cat. Initially, I was hesitant as I remembered my mother’s strict rule of “no pets allowed.” However, the idea of having a furry little friend to take care of intrigued me. After a year of contemplation, I finally gave in. My girlfriend found someone on Facebook who had kittens up for adoption, and we decided to check them out. Unfortunately, when we arrived at the location, the little gray male cat with blue spots that we planned to adopt had already been taken by somebody else.
In the yard of a woman’s house, a playful ball with yellow eyes caught my attention. Her name was Tomitilii and I knew I had to have her. Despite being female, I named her TOM after my love for the cartoon duo Tom and Jerry from childhood, which later evolved into Tomitilii. She has grown into a big and colorful ball, and my love for her will never fade.
As for her personality, she is quite stubborn and expects things to be done her way.
Tomitilii had two cat friends in the past, which belonged to a neighbor who moved away to England. One of the cats was a friendly black and white tomcat named Miau, who unfortunately passed away two years ago after falling from a balcony on the 10th floor. Now it is just me, my new girlfriend, and Tomitilii living together with no children or other pets…for now.
What does she enjoy doing in her free time?
Besides keeping me company and playfully reminding me of her royal status at home, even when I’m busy with work or other tasks, I adore my cat for her affectionate nature and ability to make me smile. She’s a perfect furry companion for small living spaces and has a heart that’s larger than her petite frame. Similar to most cats, she enjoys meowing, eating, napping, and using the litter box.
The best part of it all is how she manages to sharpen her claws on the priciest furniture in the flat. Her ability to distinguish the most valuable items is simply magical!
