A mother dog tirelessly traversed a distance of three kilometers daily in search of food for her 10 adorable puppies. Thankfully, she has been rescued and soon her cute little ones will find their forever homes.
Residents of Fowler, Fresno, California were touched by the sight of a recently delivered mother dog who was making a daily trek of 2 miles to provide food for her litter. The founder of Pinky Paws ResQ, Krystle Woodward, discovered the existence of the dog and her struggle to sustain her puppies. Although Krystle had first heard about the dog two months prior, no one had been successful in capturing her until last Thursday when Betty Boop and her 10 puppies were finally rescued.
Krystle shared on the organization’s Facebook page that she had a spontaneous encounter with Betty Boop during her break at work. Startled, the cartoon character quickly disappeared from sight. However, Krystle’s husband came to the rescue and chased after Betty Boop in their van during her lunch hour on Thursday.
A mother dog had to travel 3 kilometers every day just to provide food for her puppies. Witnesses claimed that for the past several weeks, the dog was seen scavenging for food miles away from town to ensure her babies were fed. Worried about their health, her owner took her to the vet, where she found out that the dog was still breastfeeding. Feeling emotional at the thought of her puppies starving without her, the owner cried all night. One day, the dog tried to escape and climb over the fence, showing how much she wanted to be with her little ones. The owner is now searching for the puppies to make sure they are safe and sound.
As reported by YourCentralValley, a group of puppies was found in the basement of an empty house. A young boy named Kenneth Stoen was asked by the son of Krystle’s friend to lend a hand in rescuing the pups from their predicament.
Happily, all ten puppies are doing well and have been given unique names like Amber, Citrine, Copper, Jade, Jasper, Onyx, Opal, Pearl, Rubyloo, and Sage.
Kenneth was touched by Krystle’s trust in him when she showed him where her puppies were located. He now has a special fondness for these adorable pups.
